I am not perfect. This is the first time in the last 2 months I have eaten something that I shouldn't have. I ate a christmas brownie. It had to have had a ton of sugar and a billion calories.
But you know what, it was yummy! What is done is done but I am not letting it slow me down. Back on track tomorrow. In the past this would have derailed me, but hey this is real life, there will be brownies every now and then.
I've had similar experiences in the past where I thought that I had to be perfect in order to succeed. But I've also come to realize that in life there will be brownies - just not everyday and I'll be fine! :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
A brownie is a brownie. It isn't poison or evil or diabolical. LOL. It's just that WE let it trip us up. You are right on track. You haven't messed up, you just went over a speed bump. Now you can accelerate again.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
WOW. Two months is a huge, fantastic amount of clean eating! Don't be hard on yourself at all! I know that I did not get to the weight I am at from one piece of cake or even one whole cake... You get the point. Amazing accomplishments. Congratulations!
ReplyDeletethis snippet of a post is, perhaps, one of the most powerful youve written.
ReplyDeletelife IS for living and, at times, brownie eating.
hope it was an amazing day.
Miz.
Eating something yummy at Christmas isn't a sin. It is expected. But tomorrow is always another opportunity to start fresh and do things the right way. I ate like I haven't eaten in months the past 2 days and got right back on track today. If I can do it, anyone can do it.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU :D
ReplyDeleteYou just made me the happiest blog reader ever, haha....
Merry Christmas! And, I hope you are such a loser in 2009 :P In the nicest, possible way!
