Every thing is closed...

So, we are down here in Florida dodging hurricanes and tropical storms. We were missed but the weather has been horrific which led to everything in the world to close including my job. Traffic conditions were deemed unsafe. I deem staying home alone on a stormy day unsafe for diets. This leading to mindless eating and a load of guilt. Oh well, I cut myself off for the day but not before I squeezed in a couple of cookies and some Doritos. My mom got them as hurricane supplies. Damn Fay!

Good news is this is not the norm for me and I am feeling very good about hitting my revised birthday goal in a couple days. Go me!

  1. I used to smoke through the hurricanes, so I won't take you to task for Doritos... but you can let mom know that granola bars (real ones), dried fruit and beef jerky are better for you :)

  2. I feel your pain! My Monday and Tuesday was filled with poptarts and chocolate cravings!

It so funny because as I was getting ready for Fay, my first thought was, CRAP! There goes my eating plan! Come on, healthy hurricane supplies... yeah right! =)

  3. I have had more than my fair share of Doritos lately and usually I don't even like them. I think I"m a bit homesick and that's something that tastes like "home'. Good luck with your birthday goal!

  4. I'm in FL too and although everything else was closed, my job decided to stay open during the torrential downpours and extreme wind gusts! I braved the storm and stuck to my guns and said "NO" to the pizza delivery, Chinese Delivery and even braved the storm to go home on my lunch hour to eat my 0 points Progresso Soup.

Hope everything in your area is getting back to normal soon! It's storming here still
