My SIL's 80's themed Birthday Party

When it rains it pours, parties galore over here in my life. A few shots from the party. I rocked it rainbow bright style.

In other news, I am still depressed and having a hard time climbing out of the hole I am in. I gained one pound. I am now 315. Yippee.

  1. I love your costume :) Sorry to hear that you are still having a hard time. I've been there for the past few months. Not sure if anything has changed yet, but I've been trying to make some headway. I hope that you find some light at the end of the tunnel soon.

  8. I loved your outfit! You totally could have pulled off the side pony tail too.

Regarding your depressed state, I wish I had some super advice that would pull you up out of that dark lonesome, self defaeting hole that you're in but all I can do is stand at the opening and cheer for you, hope that you hear me and make your way back out.

You have so much on your mind regarding your health, weight and try to concieve, it's so wonder you're a bit unbalanced, hormonally speaking. I hope you find that balance soon. I've been pulling for you since the very beginning and I have faith that you still can and will do this.

  9. Try keeping a gratitude journal, it helps you to focus on the positive things which helps your dendrites in your brain grow, which encourages a positive attitude.
My friend was in a bad state last year and she started a gratitude journal which encouraged some of our friends to do the same thing. Write anything that you are grateful for down, even if its only one thing each day!
    Hope you feel better soon!!

  12. That party looked like so much fun and you looked really beautiful. One pound is nothing to fret about, especially since you have been celebrating. It will come off!

  13. Found your link from another blog and glad I stopped by! Firstly you rocked in the pics! You looked gorgeous.
I know all too well about the pouring rain feeling. I am sure we can all relate. I agree with the above comment, write down all the things you are grateful for, I have many times and it does make you realise life is quite good at times. I am in my second marriage and we tried to conceive also, my weight is a big factor along with POCS. We all have so much to live for and sign and dance about. We just need to reinforce it at times. When I get down, I give myself a couple of days and then I kick my own butt, get off the bed and kick down the door. We can do ANYTHING we put our minds too and that includes allowing ourselves to stay down. You are a strong woman, I can see that from your blog. Nothing can keep you down or on track if you don't let it. Keep going! You can do this!
